Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SetToRun, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NOT YET REGISTERED — TODO(entity)] (“SetToRun”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using SetToRun you agree to them. If you are using SetToRun on behalf of a business, you are agreeing on that business’s behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

1. What SetToRun is

SetToRun is an automation platform for creators and social-first businesses. You connect accounts — currently Instagram and Facebook — and configure Runners: named automations that reply to comments and messages, manage contacts, and (as more Runners become available) handle invoicing, email and stock. You choose what each Runner is allowed to do; SetToRun runs it.

We only offer features that are currently built and approved for use. We do not enable a capability — such as a new channel or a new kind of automated message — until it has the necessary platform approval to run on real accounts.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for the accounts you connect to SetToRun and for having the right to connect them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SetToRun to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or content that violates Meta’s (or any connected platform’s) platform terms and community standards.
  • Harass, deceive, or impersonate any person or business.
  • Violate any law, or the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to SetToRun’s systems.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, of a connected platform’s policies, or where required to keep our own platform access in good standing.

4. Your content and data

You retain ownership of your content, your contacts, and the data your Runners generate on your behalf. You grant SetToRun a limited license to process that data solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Where SetToRun is offered as a paid subscription, pricing and plan limits are shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. Payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card details. Fees are billed in advance and, except where required by law or stated otherwise at signup, are non-refundable for partial billing periods.

6. Service availability

SetToRun depends on third-party platforms, including Meta’s APIs, that we do not control. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee that SetToRun, or any connected platform, will be available without interruption. SetToRun is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY NOT YET REGISTERED — TODO(entity)] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SetToRun, including lost profits or lost data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using SetToRun and delete your account at any time — see Data Deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms, for non-payment, or where continued access would put our own platform standing at risk.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify active accounts directly.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [TODO(entity): jurisdiction of incorporation], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

The governing jurisdiction above depends on the registered entity, which is not yet finalized (see the Privacy Policy). It will be updated once that decision is made.
