Early access. These guides cover the current product build. Access and connected-channel availability depend on your organization's setup. Public Instagram messaging access is not available yet.
Set up AI comment replies
AI comment replies require Business, Operator or an eligible Agency package, current channel permission, an opted-in active Play and operator activation. Your operator must complete model validation and enable the workspace before this feature can run.
Review access and credits
- Open Plan and usage in the correct workspace. Review General AI access and the monthly AI credit allowance. Free and Solo cannot enable this feature.
- Check Used or reserved AI credits for the current UTC month. Outstanding and uncertain attempts are included. Credits reset by UTC calendar month, independently of an annual commitment.
- Ask an operator to confirm activation for your workspace. Saving a channel or Play preference alone does not activate the service.
Choose the channel and Play
- Open Channels and the relevant connected account. Review its General AI reply permissions and allow comment replies if your role and plan permit it.
- Open Plays and select a comment Play bound to that channel. Enable Allow general AI comment replies, review its selected post or all-post scope, and save.
- Review the complete Play before activating it. Keyword rules continue to use their configured responses. Ambiguous keyword matches stay silent.
- To stop AI replies on the channel, disable its channel permission. This restriction wins over saved Play preferences. Existing work already authorized for transport cannot be recalled.
Understand which rule applies
For a comment with no exact keyword match, current post-specific comment rules take priority over all-post rules. If any active rule at that specificity opts in, the comment can be considered. An opted-out post-specific rule can therefore prevent a broader all-post rule from supplying permission. No applicable opted-in rule means no AI inference.
The feature considers the public comment and its saved public post caption. It does not read private Knowledge entries. It can produce a brief public comment response for a supported relevant question or conversation. Requests requiring a configured link or private response stay with their configured Play. General DM replies and personal factual answers are outside this feature.
Check outcomes and stop safely
Review the recorded action and outcome in Night log. A refusal or an uncertain outcome can produce no reply. AI output is validated before a public send, and current workspace, plan, channel and Play permissions are checked again. A provider acknowledgement does not establish delivery or answer quality.
Each admitted AI inference reserves one credit, including an attempt whose outcome remains unknown. A definite no-charge rejection releases its reservation. An invalid billed answer still uses a credit. No automatic model retry or repeated public reply is promised. Other AI tools share the included monthly credit allowance, and separate spending protection still applies.
If replies are missing, check activation, the selected channel, the saved public post, current Play scope and version, channel permission, monthly credits and recorded refusal. Do not repeatedly resubmit an uncertain send.
