Review a Play assistant proposal

Turn an idea or saved-message pattern into a reviewed inactive draft.

Prepare your request

The Play assistant is optional and depends on your workspace's plan and enabled capabilities. Some existing page and control labels still say Pilot. Your AI usage allowance and current checks apply to generation; a sample rehearsal does not call an AI model.

  1. Open the Play assistant or Pilot page.
  2. Choose the supported Play type, channel and, for a comment Play, the saved post.
  3. Describe the exact reply you want. Include the words to match and the message or link you want to send. Do not assume the assistant can answer from Knowledge or create arbitrary multi-step workflows.
  4. Request the proposal, then inspect every keyword, scope and reply. The proposal is not active and has sent nothing.

Refine and test

If more detail is needed, choose Add details. If the candidate needs a change, edit the fields, describe the adjustment, and choose Ask Pilot to adjust. Review the replacement result; each generation can use more of the allowance. Supported follow-ups are bounded and can replace the previous candidate even when they fail.

Where rehearsal is enabled, choose a saved contact and enter an Example message or Example comment, then use Test reviewed draft. This uses your typed sample, not the person's message history. It sends nothing and does not guarantee a later real send. Changes to the proposal or sample require another test.

Add an optional contact tag

Where enabled, Let Pilot propose a contact tag after the reply includes a tag for explicit review. Check its exact name before saving. The reply is attempted before the separate contact-tag step; a tag failure does not undo an accepted reply. Repeated saved-DM suggestions do not automatically add tags.

Save, then activate separately

Confirm the reviewed proposal to save an inactive draft. Open that Play and review it before activating. The assistant does not activate or run an unsaved proposal. Revising an existing inactive draft also requires reviewing the current saved version rather than overwriting concurrent changes.

For an unclear result, use Check proposal status to read the same request. Do not start another request simply because the response was lost. Private history is useful for checking what was saved; it is not current execution permission.

The detailed Play guide covers bounded scans of repeated saved DMs, pruning and history recovery.

Set up a product enquiry goal

Where the Facebook business conversation pilot is enabled, choose Review a product enquiry goal from Pilot and choose a Facebook Page.

  1. Describe the product or service enquiries you want to qualify and choose Review supported goal. Review the supported steps, approval points and stopping rules.
  2. Choose the required details, such as what the customer needs, quantity and timing.
  3. Choose Save inactive goal. Use Rehearse sample message with fictional details to see the next question and proposed fields. Sample progress stays in the rehearsal.
  4. Publish the customer-facing answers separately in Knowledge. Check the Page's general AI permission and the workspace's enabled tools, then review the saved goal before choosing Activate reviewed goal.
  5. Use Pause goal when you need to stop work temporarily. Review the saved goal before resuming it.

Quote preparation requires access to Quotes and Stock, and an owner or admin reviews the selected item and price. A follow-up needs its own approval for the current conversation, exact message and time. Each operation also checks current access and its safety limits.
